Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 1, 2026

These are DailyCampus's published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to the DailyCampus mobile app and web platform.

1. Our commitment

DailyCampus has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualisation of minors, and any attempt to solicit or trade such content. This applies everywhere in the app: posts, comments, anonymous posts, clubs and groups, events, chats, listings, profiles and media.

2. Who may use DailyCampus

DailyCampus is a network for students, staff and faculty of educational institutions. Our Terms of Service require users to be at least 17 years old. Accounts found to belong to someone below the minimum age are removed.

3. What is prohibited

Content or conduct that sexually exploits or endangers children, including imagery, links, text, requests or offers of any such material.

Grooming, or any attempt to contact a minor for a sexual purpose.

Using anonymous posting, private chat, clubs or groups to organise or hide any of the above. Anonymous posts and comments are anonymous to other students only: DailyCampus always keeps the real author on record so we can act on reports.

4. How to report a concern

In the app: open the menu on a post, comment, club or member and choose Report. Pick the closest reason, such as Sexual or explicit content, or Other, and describe what you saw. You can also block any member at any time.

By email: write to support@dailycampus.app with a link or description of the content or account. Reports about children at risk are treated as the highest priority.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

5. What we do about it

Reports are reviewed by the DailyCampus platform team. Reports about a member are handled by the platform team and are not routed to a campus ambassador.

Content that violates these standards is removed, and the accounts involved are suspended or permanently banned.

We preserve the relevant records so that they can be provided to law enforcement when required.

Confirmed child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant national and regional authorities, in line with applicable law.

6. Safety by design

Campus content is scoped to the campus it was posted in, and groups can be private or hidden.

Members can block others, which hides both sides from each other across feeds, search and direct messages.

Platform moderators and campus ambassadors can remove content, and every moderation action is recorded.

7. Child safety contact

For questions about these standards, or to reach the person responsible for child safety compliance, email support@dailycampus.app.
